School Description

Fine arts and technology development date from the dawn of humanity. While art is a source of inspiration, for technology innovations inspiration is a must. The aim of the Fine Arts summer course is to tune aesthetics and culture, and to give an idea about the inspiration process, that has led to so many human achievements.

The course starts with a historical overview of Fine Arts from the dawn of humanity to modern days. The theoretical part will include basic principles as scale, perspective and construction in relation with engineering. A parallel is made between the art process and the scientific research work.

The practical part of the course includes both art demonstrations by the lector and independent work on diverse themes with different art media. As a final result, each participant will have his own personal/ corporate logo; favorite text, written in a calligraphic style, and his artworks from the course will be arranged in an exhibition.
